The Crime Victims Helpline is a confidential listening and support service for victims of crime in Ireland. They support, inform and listen to victims and anyone impacted by crime.
Project Overview
We quickly understood that the previous website was no longer fit for purpose and that a completely new web presence with an easy to use CMS was top priority. The new platform needed to become an invaluable source of support for victims of crime in Ireland.
We took a discovery-first approach, beginning with an internal stakeholder survey to find out what the client wanted to achieve, and what their current site visitors needed from the new site.

Solution
Initially, we enhanced the website's accessibility and user experience functionality. Transitioning from the previous image-heavy design, we adopted a clean and functional interface for improved usability.
Additionally, we developed a highly responsive and scalable Headless WordPress website, ensuring optimal performance and accommodating the organiasation's future growth.
Result
The organisation's engagement with its service users has undergone a dramatic transformation. Monthly visitors surged by over 45%, and bounce rates on critical pages notably decreased.
Moreover, there was a 25% increase in direct contact with the organisation through the website, affirming the project's genuine success.
